In connection with the Diamond Jubilee of the St Thomas Apostolic Seminary and the Ruby Jubilee of Paurastya VIdyapitham, a five-day webinar was conducted on the topic ‘Response to the Challenges of Pastoral Ministry Today’ from September 20-24, 2021. Students of the seminary from the year 1968 to 2020 participated in the webinar on their corresponding days. Every day the webinar started at 6.30 pm and ended at 8.00 pm. Each day there was a presentation on the topic for thirty minutes and a sharing session of ten minutes which was followed by a session for discussion which lasted for twenty minutes.

20 September, 2021
The first webinar was conducted on 20th September 2021. Rev. Fr. Dominic Vechoor was the moderator of the webinar in which the students of the seminaryfrom the year 1968 to 1980 participated. The webinar started at 6.30 pm with a prayer by Bro. Thomas Urumbithadathil. Rev. Fr. Scaria Kanniyakonil, the rector of the Seminary, welcomed all to the webinar. Rev. Fr. Andrews Mekkattukunnel, the president of the Paurastya Vidyapitham gave the felicitation. His Excellency Mar Raphael Thattil presented the topic of the day. Rev. Dr. Mathew Vellanickal shared his experience. Thereafter there was a common session for sharing and discussion. Rev. Fr. Johnson Neelanirappel, the Head of the Department of Philosophy thanked all. The webinar came to an end at 8.00 pm.

21 September, 2021
The second webinar was conducted on 21 th September 2021. Rev. Fr. Pauly Maniyattu was the moderator of the webinar in which the alumni of the seminary from the year 1981 to 1990 participated. The webinar started at 6.30 pm with a prayer by Bro. Denil Palakuzhiyil. Rev. Fr. Scaria Kanniyakonil, the rector of the Seminary, welcomed all to the webinar. Rev. Fr. Andrews Mekkattukunnel, the
president of the Paurastya Vidyapitham gave the felicitation. Rev. Dr. Mani Puthiyidom presented the topic of the day. Rev. Dr. Xavier Koodapuzha shared his experience. Thereafter there was a common session for sharing and discussion. Rev. Fr. Lindo Kuttikadan, the vice rector of the seminary thanked all. The webinar ended at 8.00 pm.

22 September, 2021
The third webinar was conducted on 22 th September 2021. Rev. Fr. Xavier Maramattam was the moderator of the webinar in which the alumni of the seminary from the year 1991 to 2000 participated. The webinar started at 6.30 pm with a prayer by Bro. Jince Chollampuzha. Rev. Fr. Scaria Kanniyakonil, the rector of the Seminary, welcomed all to the webinar. Rev. Fr. Andrews Mekkattukunnel, the president of the Paurastya Vidyapitham gave the felicitation. His Excellency Mar Joseph Pamplany presented the topic of the day. His Excellency Mar George Madathikandathil shared his experience. Thereafter there was a common session for sharing and discussion. Rev. Fr. Joseph Kaduppil, thanked all. The webinar ended at 8.00 pm.

23 September, 2021
The fourth webinar was conducted on 23 th September 2021. Rev. Fr. Varghese Kochuparampil was the moderator of the webinar in which the alumni of the seminary from the year 2001 to 2010 participated. The webinar started at 6.30 pm with a prayer by Bro. Melvin Chiramel. Rev. Fr. Scaria Kanniyakonil, the rector of the Seminary, welcomed all to the webinar and Rev. Fr. Andrews Mekkattukunnel, the president of the Paurastya Vidyapitham, gave the felicitation. Rev. Dr. Mathew Illathuparampil presented the topic of the day. Rev. Dr. Alex Tharamangalam shared his experience. A common session for sharing and discussion followed. Rev. Fr. Thomas Karintholil, the finance officer of the seminary thanked all. The last webinar was conducted on 24 th September 2021. Rev. Fr. Rijo Mynattiparampil was the moderator of the webinar in which the alumni of the seminary from the year 2011 to 2020 participated. The webinar started at 6.30 pm with a prayer by Bro. Alan Naduvileveedu. Rev. Fr. Scaria Kanniyakonil, the rector of the Seminary, welcomed all to the webinar and Rev. Fr. Andrews Mekkattukunnel, the president of the Paurastya Vidyapitham, gave the felicitation. His Excellency Mar Thomas Tharayil presented the topic of the day. Rev.
