The inaugural ceremony of the literary academy of the year 2021-2022 was conducted on 4^th August, the feast day of St. John Maria Vianney at 11 am. Rev.

Fr. Jose Puthur from the diocese of Kothamangalam was the chief guest. The meeting started with a prayer. Bro. Jacob Kuttikkadan anchored the meeting and Bro. Jeril Nirappel welcomed all.

Bro. Win Kureeckal and Bro. Aneesh Malieckal gave the message of the day in Malayalam and English respectively.

Rev. Fr. Jose Puthur inaugurated the literary academy and made the key-note address. He shared his pastoral experiences as assistant vicar, vicar, and as a priest who held certain other ecclesiastical positions. His vision about the future of the Church was thought-provoking. He made the entire seminarians think and reflect about the specific role a priest has to play in the current scenario.

Bro. Lijoy Pathiparamban gave the vote of thanks. The meeting ended with angelus at 12.30 pm.
